Nottingham Forest have recently been linked with a move to sign former Hull City forward Abel Hernandez, according to reports from Sport890 via Nottinghamshire Live.

The Reds will be in the market for a new forward this summer, as new boss Sabri Lamouchi begins to reshape his squad ahead of the brand new Championship campaign.

Apostolos Vellios, Hillal Soudani and Karim Ansarifard have all departed the City Ground and moved onto pastures new this summer, with veteran front-man Daryl Murphy also being told to find a new club.

And, according to reports, Forest could be set to reignite their interest in Uruguayan forward Hernandez, who was a reported transfer target for the Reds under Aitor Karanka last term.

The 28-year-old is a proven goalscorer at Championship level having scored 22 goals for Hull in their promotion-winning campaign in 2014/15, but is now a free agent having been released by CSKA Moscow.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to this piece of transfer news...
