After being released by Premier League side Everton, it is believed that defender Brendan Galloway is closing in on a move to Sky Bet Championship side Luton Town.
The Hatters have been quite active in the summer transfer market thus far, bringing in three new signings as manager Graeme Jones looks to get his feet well under the table at Kenilworth Road.
Callum McManaman, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Martin Cranie have all put pen to paper at the Bedfordshire club, and it looks as if Galloway could become the latest player to sign for the League One champions.
The left-back is on the lookout for a new club after being let go by Everton at the end of the campaign, and former Toffees assistant manager Jones looks set to give him a lifeline in the Championship, as per reports from the Liverpool Echo.
Luton will be in the market for a new full-back, after James Justin completed a move to Premier League side Leicester City last week.
Here, we take a look at Luton fans’ thoughts on the club potentially signing Galloway…
It would be an incredible signing, would feel bad for Dan Potts, having to warm the bench again. I would be amazed if we pulled this off, his wage demands will be astronomical (for our wage structure)

Not really my type but I'm not judging anyone.

Good age, high wages but countered by lack of transfer fee. Back GJ to get the best out of him.

He was once tipped for very big things and is still young. He was League One apprentice of the year in 2014, which indicates he has the attitude and work ethic he would need to get his career back on track, and at 23 he still has time to do it. If he does it with us, great.

Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen according to our transfers so far they have came out of the blue, not rumoured to be joining us at all.

Be a great signing a very good player with great attitude and very pacey to. Great on the ball and has good awareness. He also knows jones so Jones get the best out off him and help kick him on again.

Thanks. Galloway's name was mentioned a few weeks ago. Would make sense though, as you say worked with GJ before. GJ is keen on bringing in players with Championship experience.
