It is being suggested by Football Insider that Liverpool winger Harry Wilson will be available for a 'knockdown fee' this summer, subsequently opening the door for Leeds United to pursue a move.

The Whites and Marcelo Bielsa are reportedly admirers of the 23-year-old, who has spent this season on loan at AFC Bournemouth.

It is expected that his previous £25m valuation is set to plummet, thus giving Leeds a better chance of securing a deal.

With this in mind, should Leeds look to push on a seal a move for Wilson? Would he be a good addition at Elland Road?

Wilson would be an excellent addition to the Leeds squad this summer and if it is Premier League football the Whites are preparing for, this is the right hole for them to be fishing in.

What I like about the potential deal is the fact that Leeds have tried to sign him in the previous two summer transfer windows, so he’s obviously had Bielsa’s seal of approval.

Bielsa getting his teeth into the 23-year-old is quite the prospect, particularly when you look at the work he’s done with players with less ability at Elland Road.

West Yorkshire could be the perfect place for Wilson to finally find a permanent home away from Anfield.

Whilst their opportunity is there for clubs to sign Wilson for a knockdown fee, Leeds United should grasp it with both hands as he would be a magnificent addition for the Whites.

Wilson really impressed in the Championship for Derby County, but the test for him was always going to be to prove himself in the Premier League, and he has passed that test with flying colours this season.

He has scored some vital goals for AFC Bournemouth this season and has undoubtedly been one of their better players, so he has proven that he can be a top player for a lower-half team in the Championship.

If Leeds do go up this season, then a fast, tricky, direct winger like Wilson could be a perfect addition for the Whites, as the likes of Helder Costa and Jack Harrison are two very important players in Marcelo Bielsa's system of free-flowing, attacking football.

He'd have to work hard to improve defensively in Bielsa's system, but I think he'd be a fantastic addition for Leeds if they are to end their lengthy exile of Premier League football.

Yes. This looks like it could be a fantastic opportunity for the Whites and a chance to land a really bright prospect in Wilson.

The 23-year-old's talent is unquestionable and you feel that working under a coach like Marcelo Bielsa could be hugely beneficial for his development.

Adding another winger makes a lot of sense. Jack Harrison has been excellent this term but the jury remains out on Helder Costa, while Pablo Hernandez is not getting any younger.

Wilson has shown with Bournemouth this season that he has the quality to cut it in the Premier League and he should only improve as he moves towards his peak – this is the sort of signing Leeds should be targeting.
