Jack Marriott could be set to leave Derby County before the transfer window closes this evening, with Sheffield Wednesday reportedly taking an interest in the striker.

Marriott's future at Pride Park looks uncertain, with the striker failing to make a real impression under Phillip Cocu thus far.

The 26-year-old made 37 appearances across all competitions last term, scoring three goals in total, but he made only 10 starts in the Championship under Cocu.

Quiz: Do Nottingham Forest and Derby County have these 10 things in common?

Marriott has made three league starts for Derby thus far this term, with Derby lacking depth up top following Chris Martin's departure at the end of last season and an injury to Martyn Waghorn.

Derby have recently completed the signing of Colin Kazim-Richards, though, with Marriott now being considered as a potential signing for Sheffield Wednesday.

According to Examiner Live, Wednesday are considering making a loan swoop for Marriott, who has scored 18 goals in 87 games for Derby since joining from Peterborough United in 2018.

Marriott is rated highly by a lot of Derby fans, but he has been unable to really make an impression under Cocu thus far, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him leave before the deadline this afternoon.

Here, we take a look at what Derby fans have made of this potential departure...
