Aston Villa are aiming to chalk up a big win over Derby County this weekend in one of the most intriguing fixtures of the matchweek.

The Villans and the Rams both look like top six contenders this season and a win for either will seriously boost confidence.

Team selection will be key, then, and we're wondering whether it is time for Keinan Davis to be taken out of the side.

Here's our verdict...

Alfie Burns

If Scott Hogan is fit and ready, he needs to start for me.

Davis has done remarkably well this season, but his lack of goals is a huge worry and his performances as a lone striker are beginning to look tired.

Handing the 19-year-old a rest before the hectic festive period would be a wise move from Bruce.

Chris Gallagher

I'd still start with him.

Davis needs to do more but Villa have to play with a recognised striker and he is the only one fit to start and play for long enough.

Even though he doesn't score, the youngster brings others into the game so it shouldn't be all about his record.

Adam Simeoni

The youngster runs himself into the ground and gives his all for the team, but his inability to find the back of the net is concerning.

Goals will come in time for the fledgling talent, but fans will grow impatient.

I'd stick with him for now, unless Bruce feels confident bringing a returning Scott Hogan back into the side.
