A number of West Brom fans have been reacting to the latest report from The Sun that the Baggies could now turn their attentions towards Barnsley manager Valerien Ismael.

It has been reported by The Sun that the Baggies’ move to appoint Chris Wilder as the successor to Sam Allardyce has taken a hit because it is believed that he is preparing to wait for potential Premier League offers that might come his way.

While it has also been reported that West Brom have offered Wilder around £25,000-a-week as well as a bonus if he delivers them promotion. That is thought to be less than what he was on with Sheffield United.

It is now believed that the Baggies could turn their attention towards Ismael, with Barnsley having now exited the Championship play-offs to Swansea City in their semi-final. The Sun’s report adds that West Brom is a job that he could consider because of the potential to be working with an increased budget in the Championship next season.
