Nottingham Forest sit in 11th place in the Sky Bet Championship table after an inconsistent season so far.
The Reds are still yet to draw a match in the league all season, winning ten times and losing 11 times.
Warburton will have one eye on the fast approaching January transfer window, and one club that may be worth looking at for a loan is Liverpool.
The Merseyside outfit have a large squad that is full of players who could do a job on loan at the City Ground.
Which players should Warburton be monitoring ahead of January?
Could Harry Wilson do a job at the City Ground?
The young winger would fit in well with Forest’s youthful side, but I do feel that they need experience in the new year.
Perhaps they should stay clear, with Klopp unlikely to let first-team players depart in the new year.
Like most Championship sides who need a goalkeeper, Danny Ward would be a great signing.
Other than that, Forest need defenders and there’s no real obvious signings in that sense.
Full-back isn’t as much a priority as centre-back but Jon Flanagan would be a solid addition and can play either side.
The defender has been with Liverpool for a while now but hasn’t made his way into the first team.
He is 22, so is still young but also really needs to be playing and so Forest could perhaps profit in signing the centre-half.
Danny Ward would be the obvious choice, as Forest are known to be looking for a goalkeeper.
Warburton would bite your hand off at the possibility of signing Ward on-loan, with the goalkeeper extremely impressive at Huddersfield Town last season.
However, you can imagine there will be a lot of competition to sign the goalkeeper this January.
