Hull City have managed to bolster their squad this summer by securing the services of four players.

Tobias Figueiredo, Adama Traore and Ozan Tufan have joined the Tigers on permanent deals whilst Nathan Baxter has returned to the club on a temporary basis.

Certainly not content with these aforementioned signings, Hull are currently closing in on a move for Haji Wright.

In an interview with BBC Humberside Sport last week, Hull's vice-chairman Tan Kesler revealed that the club's bid for Wright had been accepted by SonderjyskE.

The Tigers are now aiming to reach a breakthrough in terms of their discussions with Wright over personal terms.

The 24-year-old managed to find the back of the net on 15 occasions in all competitions last season during his loan spell at Antalyaspor.

Making reference to Wright, Hull City fan pundit Ant Northgraves has admitted that he believes that the forward would be a good addition to the club's squad.

Speaking to FLW, Northgraves said: "Absolutely Haji Wright would be a good addition.

"The only thing last season, we finished 19th place but realistically our defence was fine, we very rarely lost heavily, I think there were only two or three games where we conceded three or more and one of those games we were on the beach after securing survival.

"You know, if we had a goal scorer last season we would have probably been comfortably mid-table and wouldn't have even flirted with relegation, we just struggled to score goals.

"There was only Keane Lewis-Potter who scored 12, the rest of the side were on five or six just behind him like Tom Eaves and George Honeyman, players like that.

"We don't have a prolific goal scorer so if we can get a young, exciting, prolific player who is hungry to learn and adapt his game, it sounds like he's quite physical, he's got a bit of speed about him.

"So, you know, potentially he could be the difference between a mid-table finish or a play-off push.

"If we can add more goals to the squad and hopefully keep hold of players like Lewis-Potter who can also score and create goals then Haji is going to be one of the signings of the summer.

"I think we're all not going to pretend to know much about him in terms of the fan base, we haven't all seen him play for example and it's another one of those where it is a foreign signing so it's a risk as he has to adapt to what is quite a difficult and physical Championship.

"But if he hits the ground running and he scores goals and we sign players of high calibre like Tufan and Traore and keep Lewis-Potter, they're going to create chances for him.

"If he is as prolific as he was in Turkey last season, it's going to be a very successful season so I'm excited that we could potentially bring him over the line and see him in the famous black and amber next season."
