Leeds United head into Christmas in good form as they sit just outside of the Sky Bet Championship play-off spots.

With the January transfer window creeping ever closer, manager Thomas Christiansen and DOF Victor Orta will be identifying potential transfer targets.

Liverpool have an array of players that'd do a stellar job at Elland Road, and perhaps the Danish boss should be casting his eyes over to Anfield.

Which Liverpool players should Christiansen look to sign next month? If any?

We discuss..

George Dagless

Jon Flanagan immediately springs to mind.

Leeds need another left-back and though the Liverpool man is right footed, he is capable of playing on that side.

He needs the minutes and so Leeds should act.

Adam Simeoni

I think Danny Ward would be a dream signing for Leeds.

Such a reliable pair of hands, Ward won promotion via the playoffs with Huddersfield last year, and would be a fantastic addition between the sticks.

I'd be making enquiries if I were Christiansen.

Chris Gallagher

Danny Ward and Danny Ings are the obvious ones.

They play in two key positions that the Whites need strengthening and would seemingly be available.

Leeds need to add real quality to sustain a play-off push and those pair would bring that.

Alfie Burns

Danny Ward, who was a key part of Huddersfield’s promotion-winning side last season.

The goalkeeper isn’t getting a chance at Anfield and could be available on-loan.

Leeds’ goalkeeping problems have been well publicised this season, and there is every chance they are looking to strengthen in January.

Ward should be on Leeds’ radar.
