Derby County are plotting a move for Beni Baningime, according to Football Insider.
The 22-year-old midfielder has fallen way down the pecking order at current club Everton and that has paved the way for Wayne Rooney to bring him to the Championship club on loan.
The Rams are determined to strenghthen their squad before the 11pm deadline, but would this be a good move?

It would be a brilliant move for the player and Derby respectively as they would be acquiring a youngster who is keen to make an impression at first team level.
Given that Baningime has already been afforded 12 first team appearances, it would be fair to say that the Toffees rate him highly.
He will add something different to what the Rams already have in the midfield engine room and I think this could prove to be a smart addition by Wayne Rooney.
It's clear that he'll be looking to utilise his relationship with his former club to great effect during his tenure at Pride Park.
