It is that time of the year that Sunderland fans will have either been relishing or dreading when the fixtures were announced at the start of the season.

It is, of course, the away trip to Plymouth Argyle. A 12 hour, 810 mile round trip awaits the travelling fans in one of the country's longest trips of the season.

Jack Ross' side will be hopeful of breaking into the automatic promotion places with a win against Argyle.

They currently sit just one point behind second-place Peterborough United, but the Black Cats have a game in hand over Steve Evans' side.

A win against Argyle would be the club's fifth in a row after victories against Bradford City, Shrewsbury Town, Doncaster Rovers and Southend United.

A clean sheet would also be their fourth in a row, but it will be tricky against Derek Adams' free-scoring side.
