‘Worst midfielder I’ve seen at Hillsborough for years’ – Sheffield Wednesday fans react to player’s update

Sheffield Wednesday are in desperate need of improvements, after the manager-less side suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of Burton Albion last time out.
Sheffield Wednesday find themselves in deep trouble, after ending and starting the year on a low with 2 defeats in quick succession.
In Monday’s encounter, Sheffield Wednesday dominated proceedings but just struggled to find a way past Stephen Bywater, after only managing to get 3 of their 17 shots on target.
After that loss, Sheffield Wednesday slipped down to 16th position in the table, just 6 points off the dreaded relegation zone.
So, with the Sheffield Wednesday striker’s continuing to misfire, you start to wonder where the goals will stem from in this side, with the ineffective Jordan Rhodes struggling to find the back of the net.
Indeed, Sheffield start reporter Dom Howson (@domhowson) took to his personal Twitter account to display quotes of a pre-match press conference with David Jones, prior to their weekend fixture away at Carlisle United.
David Jones is on pre-match press duties today. On their defeat to Burton, he said: “Everybody is still hurting. It was a difficult result to take and performance. We have to now look forward and bounce back.” #SWFC pic.twitter.com/wo7mLem9XQ

Following the displeasure of David Jones’ comments during his press conference, fans were quick to disregard the midfielder as they land many comments of negativity.
Nevertheless, here’s a look at what an angry Wednesday fan-base thought of the comments…

It wasn’t just the Burton debacle though – we were atrocious at Brentford as well.

We've been talking about bouncing back all season. In league we've got the side who stopped us bouncing coming up. Sick of hearing same things every week from our players.
