Many Hull City supporters have been bemoaning the Tigers’ ever lengthening injury troubles this season, following Grant McCann revealing that his squad have suffered more injury setbacks after their 1-0 defeat against Barnsley.
The defeat against Barnsley has left the Tigers facing the prospect of being involved in a real battle for survival during the rest of the campaign, with McCann’s side now just four points clear of the relegation zone and having not won any of their past nine matches.

The last thing Hull needed then was to suffer yet more frustrations on the injury front, but following the defeat against Barnsley McCann revealed that Tom Eaves is set to miss the rest of the season through injury, having suffered ankle ligament damage in their 2-1 defeat at Preston North End.
The Tigers could also be without defender Reece Burke for the next few weeks, with the defender having missed out on the game against Barnsley, having suffered a calf injury in training ahead of the contest.
Hull suffered further setbacks in terms of injuries on the field against Barnsley, with Jordy De Wijs having to be taken off through injury in the 54th minute, and McCann revealed after the game that the defender had suffered a problem with his calf – and the Tigers also saw Jon Toral be forced off with a hamstring problem.

Surely they should be questioning the training methods with all the injuries we have sustained. They certainly dont tackle enough to get them on the pitch. Eaves being the exception of late I suppose.

We have an obscene amount of injuries. Surely there’s more to this than us just being ‘unlucky’. Should we be asking questions about the medical teams and training setup? #hcafc https://t.co/rpvu6i4nkO
