Recently revealed statistics have shown that Leeds United have had the most shots off target of any Championship team this season.

Twitter account LUFCDATA made the revelation, possibly giving fans more cause for concern in the run to the end of the season as the club push for promotion.

Kemar Roofe is currently the club's top-scorer this season with 14 goals with Pablo Hernandez and Mateusz Klich tying for second-place with seven each.

With Marcelo Bielsa's side out of action last weekend, they slipped out of automatic promotion places with Norwich City and Sheffield United both picking up 4-0 wins.

Three points from their game in hand would see them move back to the top of the table but they must now play catch up rather than set the pace themselves.

This Saturday sees them welcome strugglers Bolton Wanderers to Elland Road in a match that they will surely be confident of winning, given how Norwich despatched them 4-0 last weekend.

The verdict

This should be a slight concern but nothing to get too worried about.

Ok, obviously having the most shots of target is not a good thing but the fact that they are able to get those shots away must be a good thing.

It hints at the confidence pulsing through the team and if they were not taking so many shots they would not have scored so many goals.
