QPR saw a draw come their way at the weekend as they went to Sunderland and drew 1-1, leaving them with plenty of work to do to get back towards the top six.

In isolation, a point away at the Stadium of Light is no bad thing at all but when you consider Sunderland's home form the R's might feel as though they could have got themselves all three points.

Even so, their away form hasn't been sensational this season and so they'll feel as though they can try and build on a point, rather than a loss.

Certainly, it's what Ian Holloway needs to be doing to try and get the side back up towards the sharp end of the table but this stat from Goodbrand Stats on Twitter might be of a bit of concern:

For sure, it's always difficult to truly compare records like this with many different circumstances coming into play for both managers but R's fans might be wondering whether there has been much progress under Holloway.

He's got plenty of time to turn it around this season, though, and so we'd doubt that his position is under threat for the moment at least.

The Verdict

QPR have had an okay season so far but they do really need to try and bring in some consistency in the coming games.

That is Holloway's job to do, then, and fans will be hoping that this record that has come to light does not indicate a frustrating future to come.
