After some strong business in the transfer market this summer, Ipswich Town have had a steady start to their League One campaign.

A 1-1 home draw on the opening day of the season was followed up with all three points in a 2-1 victory over Forest Green Rovers last weekend.

A midweek defeat in the EFL Cup to Colchester will have dampened the mood at Portman Road slightly, but the competition is clearly not a priority for the Tractor Boys this season.

With the club welcoming MK Dons to Portman Road this weekend, here, we've predicted the line up we think boss Kieran McKenna could opt for in the clash.

Although there were plenty of changes for the midweek clash against Colchester, we expect McKenna to revert to a similar line up that has played both league games of the season so far.

That includes Christian Walton starting inbetween the sticks.

In front of him, after playing at the heart of the defence last weekend, George Edmundson returns to LCB, with Luke Woolfenden back fit again after missing out last weekend and taking his place in the centre.

Cameron Burgess could miss out as a result. Janoi Donacien should once again start at RCB.

Leif Davis and Wes Burns look pretty good bets to keep their places on the left and right flanks respectively, as do the midfield duo of Sam Morsy and Lee Evans.

Just behind the striker, we expect Marcus Harness and Conor Chaplin to support the attack.

Freddie Ladapo should lead the line.

Ipswich Town vs MK Dons is scheduled for a 3PM kick-off on Saturday 13th August.
