‘Won’t be missed,’ ‘Bye then’ – Plenty of Reading FC fans react to player departure

Reading FC have confirmed that Sone Aluko has joined Chinese side, Beijing Renhe on loan for the remainder of the season.

Aluko has struggled to adjust to life with the Berkshire-based side, and only scored four goals in 50 appearances for the Championship side.

The Royals have struggled this season, and are firmly in a relegation battle this season under Jose Gomes, and supporters will be desperate for the team to stay afloat.

Many of the Madejski Stadium faithful will be delighted to see Aluko moving on, as he certainly didn’t justify the hefty fee that was being quoted when he joined the club from Fulham.

Reading will be hoping they can solely focus on matters on the pitch now, with some crucial fixtures coming up, that could define where they finish this season.

But how did the Royals supporters react to Aluko’s departure?
