Jos Luhukay’s unbeaten start to life with Sheffield Wednesday continued last night, as the Owls recorded a 3-1 victory over Reading to progress into the fifth-round of this season’s FA Cup.

Atdhe Nuhiu was Wednesday’s goalscoring hero, with the striker bagging a brace. The 28-year-old was joined on the scoresheet by George Boyd, who all but sealed the victory with a third goal just after an hour.

However, Wednesday’s record of not conceding a goal under Luhukay was ended late in the game, when a goal, registered as a Cameron Dawson own-goal, gave Reading a consolation.

The goalkeeper’s own-goal was not held against him though, after the 22-year-old, usually third choice behind Keiren Westwood and Joe Wildsmith, produced a string of good saves earlier in the game.

Sheffield Wednesday’s official Twitter account have moved to share images of the young goalkeeper in action last night, which has led to plenty of the club’s supporters moving to praise Dawson.
