Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa will face a late assessment on his fitness ahead of this weekend’s trip to Nottingham Forest, according to the Express and Star.
Helder Costa limped off during Wolves’ 2-1 loss against Cardiff City in midweek following a heavy challenge from Lee Peltier.
Costa is currently wearing a special protective boot to aid his recovery on his ankle.
The boot contains warm air and is designed especially to speed up the recovery on an injury.
Helder Costa is currently on loan from Benfica and has been a standout performer for the Midlands club.
The 22-year-old winger has five goals in 21 appearances for Wolves and is joint top scorer with David Edwards.
Wolves will also be without fellow winger Ola John for this weekend’s trip to the City Ground, where Paul Lambert will be desperate to pick up some points to lift them away from the relegation zone.
