It's certainly a good time to be a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, with the side flying-high at the top of the table following Saturday's comprehensive victory over Aston Villa.

That game was played in front of Molineux's biggest crowd since 1981 and it seems the fan base are very keen to show their support for the new regime.

The club tweeted today that an additional 550 tickets were made available for fans after the initial allocation of 2,575 were snapped up by supporters.

With the game not until October 28 it seems likely that Wolves will be backed by another sell-out away following.

Bar a midweek trip to Hull, the club have managed to shift all possible tickets for away games this season. They're also taking over 6,000 fans to Manchester City for the Carabao Cup tie a week tonight.

It will be a huge boost for the owners, Fosun International, who can now see the progress the club is making on and off the pitch following the big investments they've made in recent months.

The Verdict

There's a feel-good factor surrounding Wolves now that was evident on Saturday and it's not surprising given the way they played.

Nuno Espirito Santo has got the team playing some fantastic football and the fans are showing up in their numbers.

The news that more tickets are available to QPR will please fans, who will have struggled to get one from the initial allocation.
