Wolves will be looking to bounce back from their heavy 4-0 defeat at West Ham United on Monday night as soon as possible, as they look to challenge for the European spots again this season.

Nuno Santo's men have firmly established themselves in the Premier League now and are looking to challenge at the sharp end on the regular.

It's been another busy transfer window that has seen some intriguing signings go through, too, but some rumours are still doing the rounds concerning the men from the Black Country.

Here, then, we're looking at a few stories Wolves-wise from the last few days...

Sanderson wanted

Dion Sanderson is a player that Garry Monk wants to sign for Sheffield Wednesday in the final weeks of the transfer window.

We saw him do well on loan at Cardiff City last season in the Championship and it looks as though he could be heading to the second-tier again this transfer window.

Dom Howson revealed the Owls' interest in a recent episode of the Singing the Blues podcast so let's see what comes about here.

Ait-Nour rejects move

Rayan Ait-Nour has turned down an £18 million move to Wolves, according to Le 10 Sport.

The teenage left-back has attracted a lot of interest and looks set for a move away from current club Angers but his next destination remains unclear.

One thing is for certain, though, and that's that he won't be joining Wolves.

Pukki eyed

Wolves apparently enquired about Teemu Pukki earlier this summer but he will not be moving in this transfer window away from Norwich City according to the PA, via Football 365.

Wolves have the likes of Raul Jimenez and Fabio Silva up front but the Finn was apparently looked at by the Old Gold, amongst other clubs.

Nothing, though, is happening here in this window by the looks of things.
