Newly crowned Championship champions Wolves could be ready to sell winger Ben Marshall, with Premier League side Stoke City interested in making a move for the Millwall loanee, according to a report in the Sun.

The versatile winger has been a revelation during a loan spell with Millwall this season, helping Neil Harris's men come within touching distance of a playoff place.

However, it looks increasingly unlikely that the Lions will be able to keep hold of Marshall, and with Stoke waiting in the wings, Wolves could well be keen to do a deal with the Potters, with manager Nuno Santo reportedly keen on Stoke midfielder Joe Allen himself.

Wolves have romped to promotion and the league title this season, and will be keen to add quality to their ranks over the summer as they prepare for more than just a relegation dogfight in the Premier League.

With Stoke still battling relegation and a drop into the second tier still a distinct possibility, the club may well have to sell some its prize assets, with Allen sitting among those. The report claims the Potters will ask for £20m for the Wales midfielder, a fee which will probably not be enough to put off big spending Wolves, who may also be willing to throw Marshall into the mix.

Wolves fans, what do you make of this? Good business? Let us know in the comments!
