Wolves target audacious move for Man United forward as Jackett bids for more firepower

It has emerged from an exclusive report by the Shropshire Star that Kenny Jackett is targeting Manchester United striker, James Wilson for a season-long loan move.

The 20-year old striker has spent the season on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion, scoring 5 goals in 24 appearances mainly as an impact substitution.

With the arrival of Jose Mourinho, the Red Devils are likely to undergo a major overhaul, as the Portuguese rebuilds the squad, potentially opening the door for Wilson to leave temporarily once again.

Although the opportunity for the academy graduate to leave is reportedly there he remains one of the most highly sought after young players in England with a number of Championship sides and potentially Premier League sides considering a move to bring Wilson in on loan.

Since the departure of Benik Afobe to Bournemouth during the course of the January transfer window, the Midlands side have struggled for goals, a trait that seemingly undermined their attempts to mount a serious promotion push.

Wolves fans, how do you feel about the news? Would you like to see James Wilson join the club? Would he be a complimentary addition to Joe Mason, Dicko and potentially Idrissa Sylla?
