Wolves have been rocked by the news that yet another first team starter, Ethan Ebanks-Landell has been been ruled out for the rest of the season with a foot injury, the club have confirmed.
The 23-year-old suffered the injury during the weekend’s game with promotion chasing Middlesbrough, with scans revealing he has broken a bone in his foot.
Landell has been a regular fixture in the side this season and has made 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring 1 goal in the process.
It is another bitter blow for Kenny Jackett and his team, who have seen their season decimated by injuries, including long term blows for Jordan Graham and Nouha Dicko.
The Molineux side have seen their quest for a play off place stutter in the second half of the season, and Jackett may well point to the spate of injuries as a prime reason for this.
They find themselves in 13th place in the table, and the season is threatening to finish with a whimper.
Wolves take on relegation threatened Bristol City tonight, and will be hoping to get another win in front of the home crowd after defeating Derby last time out at Molineux.
Wolves fans, what do you think? What is happening with all the injuries? Is their a wider concern? Let us know in the comments!
