As per the Eastern Daily Press, Wolves have signed Norwich starlet Benny Ashley-Seal and the young star will now join up with their U23 side.
Wolves are arguably one of the most exciting sides in the Championship at the moment and their work with young players is certainly backing that up with a fair few in the first team at this current point. It’s unlikely that Ashley-Seal will get straight into the senior side of course, but he clearly feels as though that Wolves is the right place to be.
Indeed, as per the report he has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the men from Molineux and in that time the 18-year-old will certainly be hoping to become a more regular option for the senior team. He’ll have a battle on, though, with the likes of Bright Enobakhare looking like he is the most likely youngster to force his way into a Wolves attack that is full of quality.
The likes of Leo Bonatini, Diogo Jota and Helder Costa are top drawer and they are all pretty young themselves, so it’ll be interesting to see how Ashley-Seal does in a very competitive environment.
Wolves seem to be getting things spot on at the moment and this is another signing that should make fans fairly excited.
They’re unlikely to see Ashley-Seal in action for the senior side straight away but he should figure for the U23 team and it remains to be seen how he does.
