According to Sun journalist Alan Nixon, Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to join the race for 16-year-old Birmingham midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The youngster has made 23 appearances so far for the Blues in the current campaign and has shown real maturity for a player of his age.

Nixon has also expressed that Manchester United are looking at the player, whilst a number of foreign clubs are also interested in Bellingham.

He's the club's youngest ever first-team player and has a lot of potential to go on and have an impressive future in the years ahead.

There is big emphasis on his next move, and with all these clubs linked with the player he must make sure that he now makes the correct decision that will benefit his playing career.

Birmingham will do everything to hold onto him, although they'll know it will be tough due to his potential ability.

The Verdict

He is a very good player for his age and it's pretty amazing how many clubs are in for him considering he's just 16-years-old.

The best thing about Bellingham is that he doesn't look out of place in a Championship side and that is quite astonishing considering his age. If he gets a move to the Premier League then he must make sure to stay grounded in the future.

Wolves are currently in desperate need of players but have to make sure they don't panic buy. This would be a good purchase for the future.
