Wolves set to be handed major double boost ahead of relegation battle

According to The Express and Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers Sporting Director Kevin Thelwell has revealed that Jordan Graham and Michal Zyro are approaching a return to first team action.

Thelwell revealed that Wolves are trying to organise a friendly behind closed doors this week to give Jordan Graham and Michal Zyro some much needed game time ahead of their run-in.

Both Graham and Zyro have been out injured for a long time but the imminent return of the duo will give Paul Lambert a boost in terms of attacking options.

Michal Zyro had scored three goals in eight games since making the switch from Legia Warsaw in January 2016 but he suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury against Milton Keynes last April.

Jordan Graham, on the other hand, was one of Wolves’ best performers until he suffered a similar injury in January 2016.

The attacking pair are both back in full training ahead of a potential friendly this week to get them back to match speed.
