According to HITC Sport, Sky Bet Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are showing an interest in Brentford teenager Luke Dunn, but will face stiff competition for the wide midfielder's signature with West Bromwich Albion also showing an interest.

The 17-year-old is yet to sign a professional contract for Dean Smith's team which may mean the youngster could depart Griffin Park for a very small fee.

Dunn hasn't featured for Brentford's first-team yet but has impressed on-looking scouts in the Bees' youth squad, especially in the under-23 side at the London club having been a prominent member of this season.

Wolves manager Paul Lambert is looking to bring in future stars at the Molineux and is highly tempted to sign Luke Dunn during the January transfer window.

The attacker is highly-rated at Griffin Park and Brentford will be trying their best to keep hold of Luke Dunn for the foreseeable future.

A number of clubs across the country have also reportedly sent scouts to watch the teenager in action.

Wolves currently sit in 16th place in the Sky Bet Championship after a mediocre start to the season, though they'll be looking to get a consecutive league win against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.
