Kenny Jackett’s Wolverhampton Wanderers are contemplating a summer move for Shrewsbury Town prodigy Josh Ginnelly, according to FLW Sources.
Ginnelly, 18, is set for a bright future in professional football after impressing during his time at Sky Bet League Two side Shrewsbury Town.
FLW understands that Celtic and Sheffield United are keeping tabs on the talented winger, but they will now face competition from Wolves for the signature of the 18-year-old starlet.
Wolves are seemingly preparing for life with out star winger Bakary Sako next season, and the club have subsequently turned their attention to the lower divisions for a replacement.
Ginnelly is fast turning into one of the most wanted young talents in the Football League, with him looking increasingly likely to leave Shrewsbury Town in this upcoming summer transfer window.
The youngster is a versatile player and can be deployed as either a winger or just behind the main striker.
The winger began his football career at Aston Villa but ended up joining Shrewsbury, and he has since gone on to excel and mature at a fast rate in the youth system at the club.
