Championship Wolves have today announced the signings of both Ruben Neves and Willy Boly on their official website.

Impressive young Portuguese midfielder Neves is the one which will turn most heads though however, and although Wolves have not disclosed a fee, they have confirmed it is a club record fee.

Neves has signed a five-year deal with the Midlands club, and will be hoping he can lead them to promotion following what is looking like another summer of huge investment by the club's new owners, who had to endure a miserable season last year at Molineux.

Boly on the other hand has joined on a season long loan deal, and like Neves, comes from Portuguese giants Porto.

The 26-year-old is a defender by trade but can also step into the centre of midfield if needed, and he will no doubt be delighted to be joining teammate Neves in the Championship.

The signings are yet more signs of intent from Wolves and their owners, who have strong links with renowned super agent Jorge Mendes, who no doubt has facilitated the transfers of both Boly and Neves.

Wolves fans will no doubt be delighted with the captures, and will be looking for some serious improvement on last season ahead of the August kick off.

Wolves fans, what do you think to this news? Good signings? Let us know in the comments!
