Nuno Espirito Santo's second-string Wolves side showed their credentials against a Premier League opposition, as Swansea City managed to force a replay back at the Liberty Stadium following a 0-0 draw.

Wolves would of been confident on their side producing the goods in front of a Molineux crowd, as they welcomed the Premier League's worst side.

However, a stubborn Carlos Carvahal outfit wasn't to be disregarded. Although Wolves dominated for most of the match, the Swansea City defence stood firm as they kept out the onrushing Wolves attack.

After the weekend's draw, Nuno Santo will be looking for his side to replicate the manner of which they went about Saturday afternoon's performance, but would like for them to be more lethal in-front of goal.

Indeed, it seems that Wolves youth-product Jack Price is on his way out of Molineux, after making just 9 appearances in all competitions this season has seen the Englishman become surplus to requirements.

Wolverhampton Wanderers' Twitter account (@Wolves) broke the news of the midfielder's imminent departure, as they took to notify fans and the footballing world about the transfer update.

So it looks very much like the character of the Wolves changing room is set to leave the club, a man who fans will remember for the formidable partnership he formed with Kevin McDonald during their days in league 1.

Therefore, with Jack Price set to leave the club after agreeing a four-year-deal with the Colorado Rapids, the finishing touch of paperwork will be the final-part before heading off to start his American dream.

The verdict

This will be a great addition to the MLS.

Jack Price always gave his all, and showed great character even at the worst of time with the club's situation.

A man that they'll never forget.

But just couldn't force a way in to a high-quality midfield, with the likes of Ruben Neves, Alfred N'Diaye, Morgan Gibbs-White and Roman Saiss all ahead of him in the pecking order.
