Wolverhampton Wanderers are preparing a £1 million move for Sunderland striker Danny Graham, according to reports on Twitter.
The 28 year old, who started his career at Middlesbrough, was bought by Sunderland from Swansea City for £6 million in 2013 and he failed to live up to the large transfer fee as he only registered 13 appearances, scoring no goals in his first season.
This led to the striker spending the first half of the 2013/14 season on loan at Hull City, and yet again he failed to impress, playing 20 times and scoring just one goal.
In the January window, Boro boss Aitor Karanka claimed Graham’s services till the end of the 2013/14 season, playing 18 times and scoring 6 goals, impressing the Boro manager.
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet is set to let the striker leave the Stadium of Light before the end of the transfer window, and Kenny Jackett’s Wolves are interested in making a move.
