Reading manager Mark Bowen looks like he will have to face up to losing young striker Danny Loader, with the player out of contract next summer and with Wolves just one of the clubs looking to make a move for him, as exclusively revealed by us here at FLW.

Manchester United are also reported to be keen on the 20-year-old, so if the England youth international wants a move away from the Madejski Stadium, he doesn't look like he will be short of suitors.

But is Loader worth pursuing and would he be a good fit at Wolves?

We discuss..........

Chris Thorpe

"I think this would certainly be an interesting move for Nuno Santo to make, with Loader being one of the brightest talents to come out of Reading's academy in recent years.

"He would provide good back up for the likes of Patrick Cutrone and Raul Jimenez, whilst he is a player that still has a lot of room to develop his overall game.

"He has a good turn of pace over 5-yards and is capable of striking the ball cleanly with both feet, meaning that he is extremely unpredictable for opposition defenders to defend against.

"He is largely out of favour at Reading, so therefore I feel that Wolves stand a good chance of securing the services of the young striker, with Mark Bowen most probably seeking to reduce the size of his squad in January."

Ned Holmes

"Yes, I think this could be a move that pays dividends for them in the future.

"The 19-year-old looks a really exciting young talent and someone that could have a bright future.

"The teenage forward has not had a huge impact at senior level but has been firing in the goals for both the Reading and England youth sides.

"It may be tough for Wolves to get the deal done, however, as there have been murmurings that Manchester United are also interested."

Jacob Potter

"I'm still not convinced that he's good enough to be playing in the Premier League at the moment, to be brutally honest.

"Loader has rarely featured in this year's campaign for Reading under the management of both Jose Gomes and Mark Bowen, and I don't think he's adjusted well to the demands of senior football in recent years.

"There's no doubting he has a bright future ahead of him though, but I just think his development would be best served with Reading for a couple more seasons.

"He isn't going to be anywhere near the Wolves starting XI, so it would be a bizarre decision to pursue a move there, especially when he's likely to be in the Under-23's side for the foreseeable future."
