Wolves owners looking to secure summer replacement for Lambert

Published

Wolves could be set to make another managerial change in the summer, according to the Sun.

The clubs owners are reportedly interested in securing a move for foreign manager with Championship experience, which means Lambert could well be on his way come the end of the season.

Wolves have won only one game from their last eight, which came yesterday as they scraped past League One bound Rotherham United 1-0 at Molineux.

This form has drawn concern for the club’s Chinese owners, and they could now be set to move again and replace Lambert, giving the club their third manager in only 12 months.

Lambert has had a tough job on his hands since taking over from Walter Zenga, but has often bemoaned some of the circumstances surrounding the club, including some of the signings he inherited. The club did back Lambert in January, securing the £13m signing of Helder Costa, but Lambert is keen to add more players with Championship experience to his squad, and has been unable to do so as yet.

Wolves fans, what do you think to this news? Would you like to see Lambert go? Let us know in the comments!
