Wolves winger Rajiv Van La Parra is set to stay at Molineux, according to HITC, despite deadline day transfer speculation of a bid from Championship rivals Huddersfield Town.
The 24-year-old playmaker has recently made a return to the Wolves starting XI after an eye-catching loan spell at Brighton, and Kenny Jackett doesn’t want the Dutchman to leave halfway through the season.
During his time on the South coast, Van La Parra scored two goals in a six game spell before returning to Wolves, for whom he has started the last four matches.
Having already lost star striker Benik Afobe to Bournemouth and Scott Golbourne to Bristol City, Kenny Jackett is unwilling to let the winger leave the club – especially after learning that in-form Jordan Graham will be out for the rest of the season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
In a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account, Jackett stated that he does not expect any senior players to leave the club before tonight’s deadline:
Kenny also doesn't expect any senior players to be leaving the club today.
