MK Dons have confirmed via their club website that they have signed Ethan Ebanks-Landell on a season-long loan.

The Wolves defender joined up with the rest of the Dons on Friday morning to finalise his move which will keep him at Stadium:MK until the end of the campaign.

Ebanks-Landell arrives on the back of a very successful season in Sheffield United colours where the 6ft 2 defender made 34 league appearances for the Blades, helping them to a top of the table finish.

The 24-year-old, who is able to play in the middle of defence or on the right hand side, has accumulated 65 League One appearances so far in his career so he is certainly no stranger to the division.

Manager Robbie Neilson told the club website: "His record speaks for itself having won the League One title twice in the past four years. I’m very excited about having him as part of the squad this season.”

The Dons have also reportedly beaten off Championship competition to seal a deal for the defender, which perhaps shows their fighting intent ahead of the new campaign.
