Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an enquiry for Norwich wide man Josh Murphy, according to Sky Sports' Rob Dorsett.

Dorsett has also said that the Canaries are keen on keeping Murphy, who has made 10 league appearances this campaign.

In all competitions, the youngster has bagged 7 goals this season, 5 of which have come in the EFL Trophy, including a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory away to Barnet.

The 21-year-old spent the majority of last season at MK Dons, making 42 Championship appearances, contributing 5 goals as well as 2 goals in cup competitions.

Murphy bagged on his MK Dons debut in a 2-1 win over Cardiff and went on to be one of the stand out players in the Dons' 2015/16 campaign.

But despite Murphy's performances, the club was relegated back to League One after just one season in the second tier.

Wolves are 18th in the league table, 7 points clear of the drop zone, however their has been an upturn in form since former Norwich boss Paul Lambert's arrival as they have lost just 4 of their 12 matches since his appointment.
