Championship winners Wolves are lining up a summer move for Newcastle United and Fulham loanee striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to the Birmigham Mail.

Mitrovic was on hand yet again last night to fire in the winner for the Cottagers as they scraped past relegated Sunderland at Craven Cottage to keep their promotion dreams alive and well.

However, Fulham could be challenged for his signature on a permanent basis, with Wolves looking to add the Serbian to their ranks as they seek to strengthen their squad prior to returning to Premier League action next season.

Mitrovic has smashed in 12 goals in just 13 appearances for Fulham since making a January move to the club from Newcastle, and it is believed that Rafa Benitez's men deem him surplus to requirements, with the club looking to recoup some £20m for a player they signed from Anderlecht a few seasons back.

Wolves have romped to promotion in the Championship this term but with just loan striekr Leo Bonatini and Benik Afobe in the squad as recognised central strikers, manager Nuno Santo will be keen to add a new number nine to his squad.

Wolves and Fulham fans, what do you think? Would Mitrovic fit in at Molineux? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
