Wolves legend Steve Bull has called on his former side to get revenge on Cardiff for their early season defeat when they go to Wales for the crucial clash tomorrow.

The fixture, which sees second take on first, is eagerly anticipated and the visitors know that not only will victory see them take a massive step towards securing promotion but also the Championship title as well.

And, the former England international revealed in his Express & Star column just how much he is looking forward to the game.

"It's the title showdown, it's the two big boys – and it's safe to say we owe Cardiff one. I can't wait for tomorrow night's massive game, it should be an absolute cracker between the best two teams in the league."

Bull also added just how big a win would be for Nuno Espirito Santo's side tomorrow.

"If we lose it won't be the be all and end up – but if we win we'll be nine points clear and that'll almost be promotion wrapped up."

The Verdict

This promises to be a cracking game tomorrow with so much at stake because, as Bull says, Wolves know a win would be a giant stride towards confirming promotion.

If they don't, it's not a disaster but some may begin to worry given the impressive form Fulham have shown.

As well as that, they will be eager to beat Cardiff who are one of only two sides Wolves have failed to beat this season. The other is Sunderland who they visit on the final day.
