Wolves have enjoyed a fantastic season and deservedly went up as champions from the Championship, with many expecting them to make a significant impact in the top-flight.

Having attracted the likes of Diogo Jota, Willy Boly and Ruben Neves to England's second division, there is a feeling of excitement among fans about who they could possibly bring in with the money available to them in the Premier League.

One player they've been linked with by Sky Italia - via football-italia, in what would be a very ambitious move, is £22.5m-rated Andre Silva and here at FLW we think he would be the perfect statement signing for the newly-promoted side.

Firstly, it may seem unrealistic however Silva knows manager Nuno Espirito Santo very well having enjoyed a great breakthrough season at Porto under the Wolves boss.

More importantly, he is third choice at AC Milan behind Nikola Kalinic and Patrick Cutrone, so surely the player would welcome a move to play regularly and the Italian giants would have to consider a big offer for a player that doesn't start.

As for Wolves, not only would his arrival show they mean business but it's also improving an area of the pitch they struggle in.

Of the current forwards, Leo Bonatini hasn't scored since December and Benik Afobe hasn't convinced in the top-flight in the past, so a new number nine is a priority this summer.

You only have to look at the relegated sides this season to see how important a goalscorer can be in the Premier League with West Brom and Stoke both seriously lacking in that department.

Therefore, it's vital Wolves get the right man. And, with his ability to link play and his intelligent movement and ruthlessness in front of goal, Silva could be the man to take Wolves to the next level.
