Championship club Wolves want to take Arsenal keeper Emiliano Martinez on a permanent deal, according to the Shropshire Star.
The Arsenal stopper is currently on loan at Molineux and has fought it out with Carl Ikeme for the number 1 jersey for the majority of the season.
He has impressed in his appearances, making 15 in all, before an injury just before Christmas allowed Ikeme to regain his place.
With Wolves looking to build for next season and hopefully challenge more closely for a play-off place, manager Kenny Jackett will be looking to add quality to his side, and will see Martinez as the ideal man to come in and either be number 1 or provide competition to Ikeme.
Martinez has been with the Gunners since 2012 and has never really nailed down a place in the first-team, spending numerous loan spells with Oxford United, Sheffield Wednesday, and Rotherham United before joining Wolves.
The talent is no doubt there with Martinez, and if Wolves can manage to snap him up, it could well be a real coup for the club.
Wolves take on Ipswich Town today at Molineux as they look to finish the season strongly.
