Championship table toppers Wolves are the favourites to land striker Lewis Grabban in the January window, reports Somerset Live.

The former Norwich and Rotherham striker has been in fine form during a loan spell with Sunderland this season, bagging 12 times as the Black Cats have struggled at the bottom of the table, but he has seen his loan move at the Stadium of Light come to an end.

However, Grabban does not appear to have a future with parent club Bournemouth, as manager Eddie Howe prepares to let go the striker he paid £7m for.

Wolves are keen to add another striker to their ranks to aid the goals and play of lone forward Leo Bonatini, who has been in prolific form but could well show signs of being jaded with such a busy schedule coming up for the table toppers.

Grabban would add some much needed guile and pace up front and would no doubt be another signing who can send Wolves on their way to the Premier League once again.

Wolves will be hoping to tie up a deal this week for the striker and get their January business done early.
