Wolves eyeing summer swoop for prolific Championship loan star

Championship winners Wolverhampton Wanderers have romped to success in emphatic style this season and their supporters can look forward to playing Premier League football next season.

It doesn’t appear that the club will waste any time at all in strengthening their squad during the summer either, with the Hull Daily Mail reporting that Wolves are interested in securing the services of Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The big Serbian striker has been in scintillating form for Fulham this season scoring 12 goals in 13 appearances during an extremely fruitful loan spell and it looks likely that he will have no shortage of suitors in the summer.

The key to success for newly promoted Premier League sides is to find someone capable of netting 20-goals and Wolves clearly feel that Mitrovic is the man to do that next season.

Given the ambition of Wolves’ owners it seems certain that boss Nuno Espírito Santo will be given an ample bounty to make the club competitive during the 2018/19 campaign.

Wolves fans, would you welcome Mitrovic to the club? Let us know in the comments below!!!
