The 22-year-old has been plagued by injuries in recent times and a loan move would be the perfect way to help the defender regain some fitness - and FLW have been informed from a source close to the Midlands club, that they are keen on sealing a loan deal for the young Liverpool full-back.

After his brilliant breakthrough season at Liverpool back in the 2013/14 season, gaining him numerous plaudits from pundits and fans, Flanagan has been out of action for a prolonged time after continuous problems with his knee.

The full-back missed the beginning of last season due to having fluid in his knee, and after two knee operations, he then returned to training and featured in a Liverpool All-Stars friendly.

Flanagan was then dealt with another massive blow after scans revealed he needed more knee injury, keeping him out for six to nine months.

The move could be a good one for all parties with Flanagan able to regain match fitness and form as well as Wolves, who would be able to add a hugely talented defender to their squad.
