Wolves competing with Chelsea and Liverpool for signature of highly rated 20-year-old

Wolves have emerged as contenders to sign highly rated Porto midfielder Ruben Neves, according to the Express and Star.
The 20-year-old is deemed to be one of the most highly rated young players on the continent, and Wolves will no doubt be hoping to use their Portuguese links to try and seal a deal for Neves.
However, it will be a tough ask for Wolves to convince him to sign, with both Chelsea and Liverpool having registered interest in the player, and Porto also valuing the player at around £18m.
Neves has recently been with his country in the under-21 European Championships, where his classy performances in the midfield drew admiring glances from a host of onlookers. His agent is world renowned super agent Jorge Mendes, the man responsible for bringing the likes of Helder Costa to Molineux, and the Championship club will be hoping Mendes can pull one out of the bag for them again.
The Porto man is a home grown talent by the Champions League winners, and has gone on to make nearly 100 appearances in his young career to date.
