Jed Wallace is close to completing his move to Millwall, according to a report by London News Online.

Millwall have reportedly agreed a fee with Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign winger Jed Wallace after his successful loan spell at the New Den last year.

Wallace joined Millwall on loan in the January transfer window last season after finding his game time at Wolves to be very limited.

The 23-year-old had only managed twelve appearances for Wolves in 2016/17 before joining Millwall in the winter transfer window.

The former Portsmouth winger netted three times in sixteen league games for the Lions, helping his loan side to win promotion via the play-offs as they returned to the Championship.

Millwall boss Neil Harris is keen to bolster his squad ahead of the upcoming campaign in the second tier with Jed Wallace one of his top targets.

Millwall have agreed a fee with Wolves for the permanent signing of Wallace and now personal terms are all that remains before the deal is finalised.

Discussions are reportedly progressing well and Millwall are hopeful that Jed Wallace will want to return to the South London club on a permanent basis.

This would spell the end of his two year stay at Molineux after failing to make a significant impression at Wolves despite impressing as a promising youngster at Pompey before that.
