Fulham, Watford, Wolves and Ipswich Town are all chasing Williams on loan before the deadline tonight. The youngster has just recovered from a groin injury and could be set for a short stint in the Championship.

The Welsh international is more of an attacking midfielder and has already spent time at Ipswich Town. He joined the club on loan from Selhurst Park in January last year until the end of the season.

It’s unknown whether he is in Alan Pardew’s plans for the end of the season.

Watford will look to Williams in order to help them seal promotion to the Premier League, whilst Ipswich and Wolves are both chasing play off places , Ipswich occupying 6th place right now, Wolves 8th. Fulham will try to avoid the drop zone to League One.

Williams would undoubtedly add a new element of creativityjust behind the striker, which ultimately could prove pivotal in the latter stages of the season.
