Wolves and Everton are said to be leading the race to sign Tosin Adarabioyo according to a report from 90min.

Adarabioyo is currently on loan at Championship club Blackburn Rovers, and has seemingly made a good impression with Tony Mowbray's side this term.

The defender has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season, and has been a key player for Rovers, who will be keen to force their way into the top-six before the season concludes in May.

Blackburn are currently sat tenth in the Championship table, and are just three points adrift of the play-off places, which certainly shouldn't be ruled out with nine games remaining of this year's campaign.

It had also been reported that Leeds United were also interested in signing Adarabioyo, although it remains to be seen as to whether the Whites have made a formal bid for his services.

The report from 90min claims that Adarabioyo has been told he can leave Manchester City in the summer of 2020, with his current deal with Pep Guardiola's side set to expire in 2021.

So, it's set to be an interesting summer ahead of Adarabioyo, who will be weighing up his options, with his future at Manchester City looking as though it's all but over.

The Verdict:

I think he's more than capable of playing regularly for a Premier League club.

I find it hard to believe that he'll be a regular for Manchester City though, as they simply have better options available to them at this moment in time.

A move to Everton or Wolves would definitely be a realistic move for Adarabioyo though, and he'll be hoping that he can have his long-term future resolved at the earliest of opportunities.

I'd be stunned if he was a Blackburn player by next season though, as it seems that he is destined to be playing in the Premier League in the near future.
