It was a night to remember for the Barnsley contingent who made the 100-mile trip south to Molineux on Tuesday night, as they saw their side thrash Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 in a breathtaking 19-minute blitz by the Tykes.

Conor Hourihane, Adam Hammill, Saidy Janko and Tom Bradshaw all netted as the men in red equalled their highest victory since promotion back to the second tier, and have closed the gap on league leaders Huddersfield.

Paul Heckingbottom's side sit in third place on 15 points, only behind Newcastle on goal difference.

They've now scored ten goals in their last three games and have scored more than any other side in the top four tiers of English football this season.

The Tykes have been one of the surprise packages this season, and it was less than 12 months ago that they were sat bottom of League One looking in real trouble.
