Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa was forced to turn to an academy player for the 2-0 win over Bristol City at the weekend, with both Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman both unavailable due to injury.

The gloves went to 20-year-old Will Huffer who kept a clean sheet in his professional debut for the Whites putting in a solid performance between the sticks.

So should Huffer keep his spot for Tuesday night's match against Reading?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

He’s certainly proved himself.

I didn’t expect Huffer to start over Kamil Miazek but he proved me and a number of supporters wrong with an impressive display against the Robins at the weekend.

You can’t ask for more than a clean sheet on your first-team debut so he will be keen to build on that when his side host Reading on Tuesday.

Gary Hutchinson

It obviously depends on who else is available, but he had a decent debut and therefore has a claim on the number one jersey.

Bielsa is the sort of manager who could well stick to his guns and keep him in the side.

After all, a clean sheet on your debut is not to be sniffed at.

Jay Taylor

Without question, he should.

Although he only faced one shot on target against Bristol City, he kept a clean sheet.

That would have one the young man the world of good and boosted his confidence no end.

There is no reason why he should be dropped after his performance if he was dropped - what kind of message would that sent out to him and the rest of the youth at the club?
